My target audience

I have decided i am drawn towards doing the electronica/dance genre since to me its all about looking into the future especially for teenagers. My idea target audience is going to be 16-24. I chose the start age as 16 because at this age you are enitiled to go on holidays alone etc. I am aware electronica/dance appeals to both female and male and i think i am edging towards grasping my target audience as female.

Arists my target audience will like
my target audience likes artists such as daft punk, owl city, sweedish house mafia, calvin harris etc. My slogan for the magazine is 'Bringing the nu future to your present' which basically insinuates the magazine will exceed any expectations bringing excitment of what the future can hold, looking forward to the weekend and looking forward to things such as summer.

Holidays
my target audience will obviously be going on holidays with a good nightlife and lots of concerts; places such as Ibiza, Spain and America will be ideal as i think these are big hotspots. I understand Ibiza is so popular especially for celebrities as well therefore a lot of teenagers are drawn there.

Technology
I think personally the piece of techonology my target audience will use the most will be the likes of an Iphone/ipod. I think an iphone because they can research and listen to music while staying in contact with there friends. They will probably use there camera a lot as well to take photos.

Social interaction
I think that my target audience will have a large social group however they could just have a few friends.
