Reece - Possible locations for taking pictures

I decided to take some photos of where I could use possible locations for my magazine. These are some of the photos i took however some didn't work.
 I thought I would actually shoot this for my DPS, as I wanted to cover the sign with party banners and get the model dancing, but when I took the photo I realised it wasn't like the thought and design I had in my head.

This was going to be the location I took for my cover page, I wanted to actually get a group of people in a line diagonal in party wear with a party banner and retro glasses.

 I know what your thinking, my shed! yes actually I wanted to design it to be a small party place, however when I took an image of the inside of the shed it was too dark! I wanted to put party banners around it and have my model posing, but I thought it looked silly.

Now I always like a challenge, i had an idea in my head that i would make this look like a party scene by again having banners and lots of party poppers everywhere, but basically i didn't like it because it looked really bare when i tried it! it just looked like pebbles and a few party poppers.

I thought this wrapping paper background looked really cool as i really wanted to be original. I thought the ideas of the bright colours would make it stand out and especially the masthead. I think i will use this background for my contents/dps as it didn't look right on my coverpage.
